Bill Haden comes to VCT after having served as a Member of a large Southeast regional firm for over 35 years where he served two terms on that firm’s Management Committee and was firm-wide Chair of its Real Estate and Finance practice group over two decades.
Bill is a graduate of the University of Kentucky for both undergraduate and law school, where he was president of the Moot Court Board and elected to The National Order of Barristers. He has been, and continues to be, rated as a Tier 1 attorney in Real Estate law by Chambers USA (2004-present), listed in Best Lawyers in America (2006-present, and voted Lawyer of the Year in Real Estate Law 2021), Kentucky Super Lawyers (2009-present), Louisville Magazine’s “Top Lawyers” for Real Estate Law, and is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He concentrates his practice in commercial lending, corporate real estate, general corporate matters, letter of credit and tax exempt financings, commercial leasing, and the representation of Special Assets divisions of institutional lenders. He is an American Arbitration Association trained Mediator, concentrating in transactional matters, commercial projects and all manner of real estate related disputes.
Bill has served his community as a Board member and president of The Kids Center for Pediatric Therapy, is a former Elder in The Westport Road Church of Christ, former volunteer for Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic, and past Board member and president of Harmony Landing Country Club. Outside the practice of law and enjoying his family, Bill remains a life-long tennis player and avid (but unaccomplished) golfer.
