Patrick’s practice emphasizes corporate, securities, financing, licensing and merger and acquisition advice to technology and emerging growth companies. Patrick has extensive industry experience in semiconductors (both equipment and device side), data storage, software, networking, tech and telecommunications. Over the course of his career, Patrick has negotiated and closed many complex, high-dollar value merger and acquisition transactions between public and private companies, both domestic and international.

Prior to joining Fortis LLP, Patrick most recently was a Partner at Dorsey & Whitney, LLP. Prior to that, Patrick was a Partner at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP (1995-2003), and a Partner at Rutan & Tucker (1983-1995). He has also been a member of the Boards of Directors of such public companies as Systemed, Inc., Laser Precision Corporation, and Proxima Corporation, as well as those of several privately held venture financed technology companies.
