Bain, Randolph A.
Mr. Bain’s primary practice areas focus on business litigation and employment litigation. In the area of business litigation, he has a broad range of experience, representing clients in actions involving general breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, violation of trade secrets, breach of non-compete agreements arising out of business sales, real estate sales fraud, and lender defense. In the recent years, he has focused primarily on employment defense litigation, defending both institutional and small employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, whistleblower, and employment contract cases. While Mr. Bain has primarily represented employers in the recent years, such representation has generated substantial capability in the representation of employees, as well.
Mr. Bain has practiced in both large and small firm settings. He has successfully tried numerous cases in state and federal court and has successfully argued on a number of occasions before the California Court of Appeal. He has frequently participated in mediations leading to favorable settlements.
Mr. Bain received his J.D. from University of California at Davis, School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts from U.C.L.A.
