Children who have been diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening diseases go here for treatment and care.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital was founded by Danny Thomas over 70 years ago, and since St. Jude opened its doors, doctors, researchers, and other medical professionals have helped to raise the childhood cancer survival rate from\u00a0<i>20% to over 80% today<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>The best part about this hospital is that families\u00a0<i>never receive a bill<\/i>, for anything. St. Jude pays for everything, including treatment, travel, housing, and food for both the patient and their family. St. Jude believes that the only thing a family should only focus on helping their child get better.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps?cid=2068363622310436038\">The Morgan Law Group<\/a>\u00a0is fortunate enough to be a proud sponsor of such an amazing organization for several years.<\/b>\u00a0Our firm admires all the hard work and breakthrough research that is done by St. Jude every day. We stand behind the St. Jude mission and are looking forward to the events we are going to be part of in 2021 now that things are finally getting back to normal.<\/p>\n<p>In February of 2020, our Marketing Coordinator, Kaitlyn Jacklin, had the opportunity to attend the St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital Fitness Volunteer Leadership Conference in Memphis, Tennessee, representing The Morgan Law Group as a Top Fundraising Team for the Miami Walk\/Run from the previous year (2019).<\/p>\n<p>It was a two-day conference that allowed Kaitlyn to learn more about the St. Jude mission and hear the impact St. Jude has had on both patients and their families. She heard several testimonies from former patients, patient families, and volunteers about how St. Jude has changed their lives forever. She was also able to tour the hospital, where she was fortunate enough to see where all our fundraising efforts go and witness firsthand all that St. Jude does for children of all ages.
